As an assistant coach at Harvard University, his coaching and recruiting skills were a positive inspiration for the student-athletes he helped guide to three conference championships and numerous top 20 NCAA rankings. And after just one year as Aquatic Director at the University of Alabama, Jack turned Tuscaloosa into a destination of choice for major national and regional swimming and diving championships, including the first Division I NCAA Championship ever held at the University of Alabama. “When opportunities like these present themselves,” says Jack, “it’s not what you can get out of them for yourself, but what you can do with them to benefit everybody.
